About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in driving Agile transformation within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices to support teams in delivering high-quality services.
  • Assist teams in structuring their product backlog to ensure efficient work and maintain cohesion with delivery teams.
  • Help teams address obstacles that hinder business objectives.
  • Build a culture of trust and open communication, fostering collaboration and problem-solving within teams.
  • Facilitate communication, improve transparency, and disseminate information within teams and across departments.
  • Support team members, particularly in delivering value iteratively.
  • Support Product Owners, particularly in managing the product backlog.
  • Work closely with Agile Coaches and Scrum Masters to cultivate and build Agile culture within the organization.
  • Establish KPIs to track team progress.
  • Set an example.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, situational leadership, facilitation, systems thinking, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
  • Ability to navigate different organizational contexts and levels (teams, managers).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT field.
  • Pertinent experience in technological design environments (asset).
  • At least 3 years of relevant Agile experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft TFS (asset).
  • Experience in the financial sector, preferably in investment (asset).
  • Bilingualism, an asset.
  • Approachable, motivated.
  • Driven by the passion to build a strong team culture.
  • Masterful in transforming conflict situations into opportunities for reflection and learning.
  • Organized and proactive.
  • Attentive and responsive to team needs.

Contract Type

12-month contract with strong possibilities of renewal.
