Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

CRU CONSTRUCTION INC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the required specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise construction staff, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure that all construction sites are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Develop and implement procedures for managing and controlling construction materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including procurement, finance, and human resources, to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working in a construction environment, including outdoors, noisy, and at heights.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with construction staff, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
