Job Title: Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at 2428957 Ontario Inc. Brampton. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal record check.
