Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned banking professional to lead our Commercial Banking team in Ontario. As a Strategic Banking Leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing sales strategies, and overseeing team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Team Leadership
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales targets
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members
Market Analysis
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Canadian financial services marketplace
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Implement processes to improve team efficiency and productivity
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in commercial banking, with a strong understanding of sales management techniques
  • Expert knowledge of financial analysis, risk analysis techniques, and credit adjudication
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate views to all levels within the Bank and externally
