About the Role:

The Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, Vice President is a senior professional who plays a key role in driving business growth and client satisfaction for Citigroup Inc. in Canada. This strategic leader is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients, providing expert advice and guidance on banking and investment products, and identifying opportunities to deepen and expand client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to deepen and expand client relationships, leveraging expertise in banking and investment products to drive business growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citigroup's policies and guidelines, assessing risk and making sound business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6-10 years of experience in commercial banking, with a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree, Masters degree or CFA are assets.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of banking and investment products, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team setting.
