We are seeking a highly skilled **Junior Accounting Clerk** to join our accounting team based in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial documents and apply customer credit
  • Manage customer credit limits and ensure sufficient credit to release orders
  • Coordinate with teams on credit extension and financial planning
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including accounts receivable and payable
  • Match packing slips with purchase orders and enter invoices into accounting software
  • Issue and post payments, and reconcile accounts
  • Perform other duties as required to support the accounting team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting or a related field in Canada
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within a team environment and multi-task
  • Intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in accounting software
