We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 12912503 Canada Ltd. as a Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and post journal entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including trial balance of books and tax returns.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.
This is a temporary position with 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work under pressure, and have efficient interpersonal skills.
