Kitchen Operations Aide
  • Education: No formal education required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
  • Responsibilities:
    • Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other items to dining areas and arrange tables
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
    • Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and seating areas
    • Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils
    • Organize and store dishes in designated areas
    • Manually wash and sanitize dishes and other kitchen items
    • Track and record food usage
    • Package food for take-out orders
    • Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing basic food items
    • Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed
    • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area
    • Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in storage areas
    • Dispose of kitchen waste and trash appropriately
    • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
    • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting
