About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our team at XL FOOD INC. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Order Taking: Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Special Needs Assistance: Assist clients/guests with special needs, such as dietary restrictions or mobility issues.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Language Skills: Communicate effectively with guests in English, the primary language spoken in the restaurant.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Temporary.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
