Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our Rehabilitation Program at Bruyère. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients according to scope of practice and Bruyère policies
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and collaboration
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements
  • Successful completion of RPN medication administration course or equivalent
  • Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate
  • Successful completion of the mandatory FIM (Functional Independence Measure) certification provided by the hospital within the established timeline
Preferred Qualifications
  • Rehabilitation Nursing Education / Certification
  • Experience in rehabilitation
  • Membership in Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO)
  • Fluent in French and English
