Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse - Senior Care Specialist

At Spring Living, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team as a Senior Care Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards of care.
  • Work closely with the Director of Health & Wellness to facilitate resident move-ins, move-outs, and transfers.
  • Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make changes as required.
  • Assist with scheduling resident care conferences and participate in conferences where applicable.
  • Provide direct resident care, medication administration, and document care in compliance with regulatory and Spring Living Resident Care standards and policies.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province/state.
  • Experience working in a senior's environment and with unregulated care providers preferred.
  • Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset.
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management, and customer focus skills.
  • Must have demonstrated sound clinical knowledge.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications.
