Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse RPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at RT Medical. As an RPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a variety of settings.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Traveling to patients' homes, clinics, and long-term care facilities to provide care
  • Performing clinical duties, including wound care, IV medications, and re-sites
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma from a recognized RPN program or equivalent
  • Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Experience as a visiting nurse, visiting registered nurse, or community nurse (an asset)
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
  • Updated immunization records, including a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months
  • Clear criminal background checks and Vulnerable Sector checks
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • A valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
