Position Overview:
As the Head of Data Insights at CARFAX Canada, you will be at the forefront of leveraging data to enhance our product strategy and drive business improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership to the Data Insights team, establishing strategic direction for the integration of advanced data analytics and machine learning.
  • Enhance the adoption of machine learning and Artificial Intelligence within our organization.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of data strategies and policies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to deliver actionable insights that inform decision-making across various departments.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and ethical standards while maintaining data accuracy and security.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by hiring, training, and mentoring a team of data analysts and scientists.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product team and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and communicate the value of data insights.
  • Manage multiple data-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in data analytics and technology to continuously improve data capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a data leadership role with a successful track record of influencing outcomes.
  • 5-7 years of experience in advanced analytics within a data-driven organization.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, particularly in a cloud-based environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and advanced analytical software.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong program and project management abilities.
