Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to provide consultative services to students in our district. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our staff and external professionals to provide assessments, recommendations, and training to support student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative services to students as referred for service
  • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to staff and families
  • Determine equipment needs and train staff as required
  • Liaise with external professionals and agencies as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Eligibility for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the College of Occupational Therapists of BC
  • Experience working with student-aged children, especially those with multiple physical challenges
  • Experience working with children in integrated settings and multidisciplinary teams an asset

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and maintain a positive work environment

  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the program
Compensation and Benefits

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $61,175 to $ with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
