Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with occupational therapy needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program.
  • Registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
