Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with occupational therapy needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers, promoting independence and self-management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
- Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program.
- Registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
