Job Overview:
The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing operations within the organization. This role involves managing the procurement team and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and assign projects to the purchasing and warehouse teams.
- Coordinate the activities of personnel involved in the procurement and distribution of materials and supplies.
- Manage and monitor budgetary allocations and expenditures.
- Organize and oversee daily operational tasks.
- Review and assess purchase orders and contracts for compliance with organizational policies.
- Recruit, train, and motivate team members.
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the cost-effectiveness and quality of products and services.
- Authorize the creation of specifications for goods and services.
- Administer contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Analyze claims against suppliers and oversee resolution processes.
- Conduct data analysis and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Lead the sales team in fostering relationships with business clients and negotiating contracts.
- Maintain and organize inventory effectively.
- Evaluate and enhance daily operational efficiency.
