Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at R&D Developments Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, motel, and resort properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inventory Management

Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of equipment and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing efficient stock management systems.

Staff Supervision and Development

Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping supervisors and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery and high standards of cleanliness.

Quality Control and Assurance

Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards, departmental policies, and local health and sanitation regulations.

Maintenance and Repair Coordination

Coordinate with maintenance and repair services to ensure prompt resolution of any issues affecting housekeeping operations.

Supply Chain Management

Oversee the maintenance of inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to meet operational needs.

Laundry Services Coordination

Coordinate in-house laundry services to ensure efficient and effective processing of linens and other textiles.

Scheduling and Duty Assignment

Develop and implement scheduling systems to ensure optimal deployment of housekeeping staff, meeting the needs of our guests and maintaining high standards of service.

Guest Relations and Complaint Resolution

Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints, resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required

Personal Qualities

Dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude

Work Terms

Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week

Language

English language proficiency
