Your Role:

As a Software Development Team Lead, you will manage focused teams of developers utilizing advanced technologies. You will play a crucial role in developing innovative products that address real-world communication challenges for users worldwide. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving our application development efforts.

  • Guide a team of developers passionate about delivering high-quality products while tackling complex engineering challenges in an Agile setting.
  • Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor team members in their professional and technical growth.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, address performance issues, and celebrate individual contributions.
  • Instill a mindset of continuous enhancement in code quality, architecture, and processes.
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure accurate product delivery and with project managers to meet development timelines.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to swiftly resolve production issues.
  • Take ownership of your team's deliverables and ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality products.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental relationships with QA, Operations, Support, and other teams to contribute to T-Net's success.
  • Engage in hands-on management, dedicating time to design reviews, sprint planning, and Agile practices, including active coding.
  • Advocate for secure coding practices and information security.

About You:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, delivering enterprise-level software across various languages and frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience in a hands-on leadership role within development teams.
  • Proven ability to lead teams across different geographical locations.
  • Track record of improving team dynamics and processes.
  • Excellent communication and consensus-building skills.
  • Experience in full-stack SaaS development and advanced web applications.
  • Familiarity with API development in service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience managing large databases and addressing data quality issues.
  • Bonus: Knowledge in Security, Authentication, Authorization, or Cryptography.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Languages: Java, Python, Spring Boot Framework.
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Skaffold, OpenShift.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, Cassandra.
  • Other Technologies: ZooKeeper, Kafka, Ansible, Hardware Security Modules.
