During October, the Oktoberfest Kool Haus hosts thousands of attendees celebrating KW Oktoberfest, the largest Bavarian festival in North America.

We are currently seeking a part-time Banquet Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to discuss contracts and modifications, ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Organize and oversee staff, event setups, service delivery, and bar operations.
  • Guide staff in maintaining cleanliness of food and beverage equipment, as well as the overall venue, including dishwashing areas.
  • Communicate effectively and delegate tasks to meet and surpass guest expectations during events.
  • Engage with clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing larger teams and functions for 400 or more guests independently.
  • Relevant experience in the hospitality sector, including banquet services, catering, and convention management.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt and resolve changes in setups, timelines, and additional requests.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision when necessary.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Smart Serve Certification is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Standard First Aid- CPR level C and AED certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
