Position Overview

Core Objective:

  1. To drive consistent revenue growth and meet sales objectives in designated territories/key accounts by identifying market opportunities, broadening the customer base, and executing projects while sustaining existing business relationships.
  2. To cultivate and establish strategic alliances with key stakeholders to enhance the penetration of our product range into assigned key accounts through agreed-upon sales strategies and tactics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the industry, products, market dynamics, and best practices, representing Allergan in a manner that aligns with our corporate image.
  2. Execute management of hospital accounts/networks (including Formulary Listings, Purchasing/Dispensing Pharmacists, Department Heads, Tenders) and manage territorial accounts through analysis of sales reports and market intelligence.
  3. Identify and engage individuals involved in the purchasing decision (Advocates, Endorsers, Gatekeepers) and foster strong business relationships with hospital stakeholders and specialists.
  4. Develop clear, actionable, and measurable sales plans/tactics for key accounts, ensuring monthly/quarterly forecast accuracy and implementation of sales strategies within the allocated operational budget.
  5. Achieve growth in key accounts compared to the previous year, either in sales units or value, and outperform competitors based on established objectives derived from market data.
  6. Sustain long-term customer relationships and proactively devise superior competitive strategies to support growth and productivity goals.
  7. Implement assigned programs to maximize the effectiveness of the organization’s efforts in achieving strategic objectives and develop solutions to challenges within budgetary limits.
  8. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with both existing and potential key accounts.
  9. Conduct market research, monitor competitor strategies, provide analysis, and formulate responsive strategies and tactics.
  10. Utilize tools and resources (SFE/SFA/Veeva) effectively to enhance outreach to key customers and ensure success.
  11. Ensure full compliance with relevant regulations, legal requirements, ethical standards, and corporate business and safety protocols.
  12. Additional responsibilities may include specific projects, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, forecasting, periodic business unit review meetings, and other customer service-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  1. A university degree, preferably in a scientific or business discipline.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience as a senior product advisor in the healthcare sector, ideally with experience in medical centers and restructured hospitals, along with a successful track record in program development and execution.
  3. Proficiency in both verbal and written communication is essential.
  4. Candidates should be mature, confident, analytical, results-driven, and self-motivated.
  5. A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills is required.
  6. Experience in a medical setting, sound judgment, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams are highly desirable.
