Lifemark's Home and Community Care (HCC) division is in search of a motivated, innovative, and socially adept Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter to enhance our Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR) and Seniors Wellness divisions across Ontario and British Columbia.

In this position, your primary focus will be on the recruitment of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, alongside the development of sustainable talent strategies and the transformation of talent acquisition processes. You will play a crucial role in building strong talent pools and fostering positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and colleagues. This is achieved through a personable and friendly approach, showcasing pride in being part of the Lifemark team. As a healthcare organization, we prioritize the experiences of our clients and candidates, striving for positive and successful patient outcomes through the recruitment of dedicated and passionate professionals.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Generating reports, metrics, and recruitment analytics
  • Conducting telephone screenings, video, and in-person interviews
  • Sourcing talent from competitor organizations
  • Crafting and promoting engaging job postings on both internal and external job boards and niche platforms
  • Contributing to talent marketing initiatives, including mail campaigns, email newsletters, and internal communications
  • Participating in career fairs and industry trade shows

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in recruitment, preferably within the healthcare sector or a related field
  • Familiarity with recruitment best practices and applicant tracking systems
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with a proven capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions to recruitment challenges
  • A solid understanding of the fields of physiotherapy and occupational therapy is a significant advantage.
