Job Title: Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Optima Accounting & Business Services. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the organization's financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Review budgets and financial reports for specific projects
  • Train staff on financial procedures and policies
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Monitor financial control systems
  • Manage contracts and agreements
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Advise senior management on financial matters
  • Leading/instructing groups on financial procedures
  • Provide customer service and support
  • Variance analysis and reporting
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Market business services and develop business opportunities
  • Hire, train, direct and motivate staff
  • Plan, develop and organize the policies and procedures of establishments
  • Direct and advise staff in the development and implementation of service quality assessment strategies
  • Plan, administer and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment and supplies
  • Represent the company within various economic and social organizations
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance
  • Provide expertise in response to clients needs
  • Plan and organize the operations of establishments that provide services to business
  • Direct the operations of an organization or department that provides services
  • Develop action plans and coordinate projects and programs
  • Assign projects and tasks to team members
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Quick Books, Accounting software, Desktop publishing software, MS Windows
  • Experience with budgeting and financial planning
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience with financial software and systems
