Optima Accounting & Business Services is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the organization's financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the organization's financial operations and budget activities to optimize financial performance
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Review budgets and financial reports for specific projects
  • Train staff on financial procedures and policies
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Monitor financial control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Manage contracts and negotiate with vendors
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data to inform business decisions
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and financial statements
  • Advise senior management on financial matters
  • Lead and instruct groups on financial procedures and policies
  • Provide customer service and respond to inquiries
  • Analyze variances and identify areas for improvement
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Market business services and develop business relationships
  • Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff
  • Plan, develop, and organize the policies and procedures of establishments
  • Direct and advise staff in the development and implementation of service quality assessment strategies
  • Plan, administer, and control budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies
  • Represent the company within various economic and social organizations
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of financial systems and processes
  • Provide expertise in response to client needs
  • Plan and organize the operations of establishments that provide services to businesses
  • Direct the operations of an organization or department that provides services
  • Develop action plans to achieve financial goals
  • Coordinate projects and programs to achieve financial objectives
