The City of Thunder Bay is seeking a reliable and skilled Conservatory Labourer to join our team. As a Conservatory Labourer, you will be responsible for performing manual labouring duties as assigned and assisting in the care and maintenance of our conservatory facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform manual labouring duties as assigned
- Assist in the care and maintenance of conservatory facilities
- Operate hand-held tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Follow instructions and attend work regularly
- Two years of proven greenhouse experience in handling bedding out plants
- Reliable and able to perform manual labouring duties
- Valid Class "G" Ontario Driver's Licence or equivalent
- Meet the definition of a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
- Provide a successful driver's record (uncertified)
- Undergo a work fitness test and a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
