Job Summary:

The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified French as a Second Language Teacher to join our team. As a French as a Second Language Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching French as a second language to students in a primary/junior and/or junior/intermediate setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach French as a second language to students in a primary/junior and/or junior/intermediate setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
  • French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
