Position Overview
Reporting to the Supervisor or Operations Manager, the Senior Operations Supervisor will oversee cleaning activities and personnel assigned to both residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all facility areas meet established quality benchmarks.
  • Train new employees on job responsibilities and workplace expectations, including safety protocols and professional conduct.
  • Maintain a daily log to document any unusual occurrences.
  • Oversee project management and allocate staff as needed.
  • Evaluate crew performance on assignments, communicate expectations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.
  • Monitor compliance with ServiceMaster standards, including attendance, dress code, and personal grooming of staff.
  • Ensure adherence to scheduled cleaning routines and arrange for additional staff as necessary.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings to discuss team performance.
  • Manage supply inventory by tracking usage and ensuring equipment is in good condition.
  • Assign and supervise staff to meet security and lighting standards during cleaning operations.
  • Adjust work schedules as needed based on varying conditions and communicate changes promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of time sheets and ensure timely communication with relevant parties.

Qualifications

Educational Background
Required: High School diploma and relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience in the industry.

Experience Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity, with preference given to candidates with experience in commercial cleaning.

Technical Skills
Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and hardwood cleaners is essential.
