Position Overview
Reporting to the Supervisor or Operations Manager, the Senior Operations Supervisor will oversee cleaning activities and personnel assigned to both residential and commercial client locations.

Duties & Responsibilities
The following outlines the key duties and responsibilities associated with this role. The specific tasks and the time allocated to each may vary based on business requirements. ServiceMaster Clean reserves the right to adjust job duties and responsibilities as necessary. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure all facility areas meet established quality benchmarks.
  • Train new employees on job functions and company expectations, including the ServiceMaster Capture and Removal Cleaning System, safety protocols, and standards for personal and professional behavior.
  • Maintain a daily log to document any unusual incidents (e.g., unlocked doors, irregular occurrences).
  • Oversee project management and allocate staff as needed.
  • Evaluate crew/staff performance on assignments, regularly communicate expectations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity.
  • Monitor compliance with ServiceMaster's standards and policies, including punctuality, dress code, and personal appearance of staff.
  • Ensure that the scheduled cleaning tasks are followed by assigned personnel and arrange for additional or substitute staff as necessary.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings, with reminders sent out as needed.
  • Manage supply inventory by assessing usage, equipment condition, and restocking by the crew on a weekly basis.
  • Assign and supervise staff to ensure compliance with internal and external security and lighting standards during cleaning operations.
  • Adjust schedules and shifts as needed to accommodate changes in traffic patterns, weather conditions, or personal emergencies, and communicate these changes promptly to the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of all time sheets and ensure timely communication with relevant parties.
General Expectations
  • Establish a positive rapport with clients whenever possible.
  • Deliver exceptional service that surpasses client expectations.
  • Conduct all work in alignment with company safety policies.
  • Adhere to all workplace policies established by the company.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Educational Background

Work Experience
Required: Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
Job-related experience: At least five (5) years in cleaning services.

Technical Skills
Equipment: Familiarity with vacuum cleaners, dusting tools, and floor care equipment.
Software: Not applicable.
