Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to join our team at Chick-fil-A of Wharncliffe & Wonderland. As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and championing growth and continuous development within kitchen operations, ensuring consistent high-quality, craveable food and service that exceeds Chick-fil-A quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Safety Assessments: Perform self-assessments for quality and daily safety assessments twice daily to ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A quality standards.
  • Coaching and Development: Coach all kitchen leaders and team members on speed, attention to detail, and preparation and production procedures to ensure cleanliness and food safety.
  • Inventory Management: Manage effective and efficient inventory and ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Receiving and Accounting: Ensure proper receiving and accounting of inventory end-of-month counts and input to maintain accurate records.
  • Transfer Logs and Scheduling: Maintain accurate transfer logs and schedule boards, prep, and receiving and setting up daily to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead daily kitchen team huddles and one-on-one coaching sessions to align daily kitchen practices with business vision and annual thematic goals.
  • Profitability Improvement: Improve profitability by lowering food gap and optimizing kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma and equivalent
  • Certifications: Food Handler Certification
  • Skills: Self-motivated, adaptable, and a consistent high performer with excellent project and time management skills, strategic thinking, and goal-oriented approach.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, with the ability to manage repetitive motions and actions throughout shifts such as bending, lifting items, and walking.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, passionate about building professional relationships with guests and employees.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate, meticulously detail-oriented, and keenly observant with a positive attitude.
  • Dependability and Judgment: Punctual, dependable, and demonstrates sound judgment.
  • Professional Hygiene and Appearance: Maintains professional hygiene and appearance.
