Your Responsibilities

During our comprehensive franchisee training program, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of store management. You will work alongside experienced mentors, participate in regional training sessions, and immerse yourself in the Giant Tiger culture.

  • Store Management: Analyze financial reports, monitor sales performance, implement strategies to maximize profitability, manage inventory levels, and make informed product ordering decisions based on market trends.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team of store associates, providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth operation of your store by maintaining accurate records, adhering to health and safety regulations, implementing security protocols, and optimizing efficiency.
  • Community Engagement: Represent Giant Tiger in your local community, participate in events, build relationships with businesses and organizations, and contribute to a positive brand image.
Qualifications

We are seeking individuals who possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and a commitment to excellence.

  • Expert French communication skills
  • Minimum of three years of retail experience, including one year in a supervisory role
  • Proven ability to coach and lead teams effectively
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills with the willingness to learn new software systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Community-oriented individual with a desire to make a positive impact
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
