About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at GHBRAR CARPENTRY LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction and repair of buildings, structures, and other wood-based projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed layouts and measurements to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Conduct site surveys and level checks to ensure accurate placement of materials.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
