Job Title: Sales Account Representative

The Sales Account Representative is a key player in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential markets, industries, and segments that align with the company's product and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for expansion, including setting short-term and long-term business development goals.
  • Explore new business models, sales channels, and partnerships that align with the company's vision and can help diversify revenue streams.
  • Gather feedback from clients to ensure services meet their expectations and use it to enhance service offerings and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure client contracts are renewed and terms are renegotiated in a timely manner, focusing on long-term retention and growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for any client issues or service concerns.
Lead Generation & Sales:
  • Identify prospective clients through various channels such as networking, cold calling, social media, email campaigns, and industry events.
  • Build a robust sales pipeline with qualified leads.
  • Develop and deliver customized proposals and presentations that showcase the value proposition of the company's products or services.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, focusing on creating mutually beneficial agreements.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
  • Use CRM tools and analytics platforms to monitor the sales pipeline, track the status of leads, and forecast potential revenue.
  • Provide detailed performance reports to senior management, highlighting sales results, growth opportunities, and any potential risks.
  • Present data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
Networking & Market Presence:
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events, and industry forums to build the company's brand presence, establish new contacts, and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Explore partnerships that can drive mutual growth, expand market reach, or enhance product offerings.
  • Continuously grow a network of industry contacts, potential partners, and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in generating new business and closing deals.
  • Ability to identify market opportunities and create strategies to capture them.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present to and engage with C-suite executives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate it into actionable business development strategies.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is required. Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within a Business to Business (B2B) environment.

Demonstrated experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals. Experience working in industries, such as packaging, manufacturing, or technology is a strong asset.
