About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing quality relationships with both customers and internal employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless coverage and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Background in electrical or technical components is an asset.
  • Rental or sales experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Power Systems Caterpillar equipment is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver the highest level of service.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring work is thorough and consistent.
  • Adaptability to changing requirements and the ability to provide necessary support.
  • A commitment to going the extra mile to get the job done.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, Internet and Outlook.
