Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining exceptional customer service standards, driving sales growth, and safeguarding company assets. Acts as a department lead and ensures the department has optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales and provide professional guest service
  • Manage retail and rental inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
  • Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures, and other loss prevention policies
  • Lead and train a sales team with effective communication
  • Provide great customer service to all guests
  • Ensure pricing is accurate and current, including any and all promotions
  • Stock shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise

Requirements:

  • Previous retail sales experience is required
  • Previous snow sport industry experience is preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English is required
  • Ability to maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends, is required
