Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at The Grocery Store. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and sweeping floors.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Will train, but previous retail experience is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
