About the Opportunity

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for maintaining oversight and preparation of monthly corporate financial reporting, including the review of monthly journal entries, reports, and supporting schedules. The successful candidate will also review monthly, quarterly, and annual supporting working papers prepared by the accounting staff, maintain oversight over internal controls, and coordinate with the company's external auditors and various other service providers as required. Additionally, the Financial Reporting Manager will pursue continuous improvement for monthly and quarterly closing procedures, assist in the preparation of other continuous disclosure documents (MD&A and Annual Information Form), and lead projects within the Finance team related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory process automation. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, minimum 3-5 years of experience in public accounting/audit, experience with documentation of ASPE compliance, experience with complex consolidations for a global multi-jurisdictional, multi-currency organization, experience with accounting for subsidiaries and/or other acquisitions, experience working effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions, and experience building Power BI reports is considered an asset. Canadian Corporate Tax Knowledge is also required.

About You

  • CPA designation
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in public accounting/audit
  • Experience with documentation of ASPE compliance
  • Experience with complex consolidations for a global multi-jurisdictional, multi-currency organization
  • Experience with accounting for subsidiaries and/or other acquisitions
  • Experience working effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions
  • Experience building Power BI reports is considered an asset
  • Canadian Corporate Tax Knowledge

Salary Range
$90,000 - $110,000/year
