About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analysis Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating monthly financial packages for reporting to stakeholders, including commentary on financial performance for the period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update monthly financial packages for reporting to stakeholders
  • Spearhead preparation of annual management reports for partners' compensation
  • Maintain financial reporting datasets, creating new queries (using SQL) where necessary
  • Build, monitor, and report on client budgets and fee arrangements, including on-demand variance analysis of budget-to-actual amounts
  • Support fixed pricing initiatives by analyzing historical data and file staffing structures, and provide recommendations on pricing revisions
  • In collaboration with department heads, assist with the preparation of the firm's annual operating budget, including GL categorization and variance analysis
  • In collaboration with the Accounting Manager and Director of Finance, complete year-end duties including liaising with the firm's external auditors
  • Partner with the Accounting Manager to manage collections and cash reporting
  • Assist the Director of Finance with duties such as insurance policy renewal, pricing initiatives, and other business analytics support

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in advanced financial analysis, planning, and/or budgeting. You should have exceptional ability to work with financial reporting and visualization tools, particularly Power BI, and advanced working knowledge of Excel. Experience with SQL and MS Access is an asset.

Requirements:

  • CPA is preferred
  • More than 5 years of experience in advanced financial analysis, planning, and/or budgeting required

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $130,000/year and a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
