Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at J&K Electrical Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget Planning and Control: Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Purchasing Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Contract Management: Authorize the development of specifications for products or services and manage contracts to ensure timely delivery and quality.
  • Supplier Review: Review and process claims against suppliers to ensure fair and timely payment.
  • Project Management: Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful completion.
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Personal Suitability:
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Initiative: Proactive and organized with a strong work ethic.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
