CB Canada is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in the greater Edmonton area.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to manage our procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless procurement operations.
  • Utilize SAP Materials Management to manage purchasing requirements, track inventory, and optimize procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with Category Management to negotiate and implement site contracts for turnarounds, including single-source contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with site-level and corporate procurement governance and procedures.
  • Support Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt discrepancies and apply subject matter expertise to the procurement function.
  • Establish professional relationships with vendors through regular contact and strong agreements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of extensive experience in procurement at the plant level in an industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Ariba is an asset.
  • Plant buying experience utilizing SAP and Ariba is an asset.
  • Excellent time management skills, interpersonal, communication, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
