Job Title: Grocery Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team at 6th Avenue Food Market and Smoke Shop LTD. As a Grocery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our products are accurately stocked and displayed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Ensure that products are accurately stocked and displayed by receiving and processing inventory, rotating stock, and facing merchandise.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
