About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Store Associate at 6th Avenue Food Market and Smoke Shop LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and rotating stock.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Stockroom Operations: Receive and process inventory shipments, count and verify stock levels, and maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Store Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping floors, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and walking.
