About the Role

Linds & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and organized Litigation Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our litigation support team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our lawyers and staff in all stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and management of litigation files, including organizing and maintaining electronic and physical files.
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and staff, including preparing and formatting correspondence, documents, and other materials.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to coordinate meetings, conference calls, and other activities.
  • Manage calendars, schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and send mail and courier packages as needed.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a post-secondary Law Clerk Diploma or Legal Assistant Certificate program.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law office litigation support role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with document management systems and other software applications.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
