The Opportunity: Sales Development Program Trainee
This program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in various facets of our business. You'll gain hands-on experience in customer service, sales, product management, and operations, ultimately shaping your career path within EMCO.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service through counter interactions, phone orders, and quotations in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
- Manage shipping and receiving of products, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
- Maintain optimal product inventory levels by replenishing stock and collaborating with suppliers.
- Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings and industry trends to become a trusted advisor for customers.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Gain exposure to key financial aspects of the business, including profit and loss statements, and understand how your actions impact overall performance.
- No prior experience in plumbing or wholesale distribution is required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Possess a college or university degree.
- Have 2+ years of experience providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, results-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required.
