About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at S1 FOOD SERVICE INC. as a Kitchen Operations Manager. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Operations and Management
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
    • Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and meeting deadlines.
    • Manage stress and pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Demonstrate a client-focused approach, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
    • Exhibit strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
    • Show reliability and a commitment to teamwork, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Experience and Education
    • Will train, but a background in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
    • Permanent position, 40 hours per week, with a focus on work-life balance and employee well-being.
