Role Responsibilities: As an Associate Financial Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our members with their financial needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and documenting essential information to facilitate meaningful discussions with members.
  • Reviewing personal accounts for accuracy and compliance, and providing recommendations to enhance members' financial well-being.
  • Assisting in the opening and assessment of new accounts, ensuring adherence to service guidelines.
  • Preparing and processing loan applications efficiently.
  • Contributing to branch initiatives aimed at attracting new members and strengthening relationships with existing ones.
  • Effectively differentiating between our offerings and those of competitors, providing tailored advice to improve members' financial situations.
  • Accurately processing member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and foreign exchange services.

Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail banking or sales, along with a high school diploma.

Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance or related fields.
  • IFIC certification.
