About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Canada's top pharmacy teams and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you'll have the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments to prescribe new medications or extend existing ones
  • Provide travel health consultations and chronic disease management via medication reviews
  • Administer medications by injection and perform point-of-care screening/swabs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to establish circles of care for patients
  • Counsel patients on prescription medication use and provide dispensary and pharmacy workflow support
Requirements
  • Alberta Pharmacist License
  • Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) certification or currently pursuing certification
  • Injection Certification required
  • Additional accreditations are an asset (e.g., CDE, CRE CTH, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HealthWATCH® pharmacy software an asset
