We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Associate to join our team at United Rentals. As an Equipment Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branches by providing labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff, and other branch personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and manage power equipment for on-site clients to ensure safety compliance and optimal performance.
- Conduct regular equipment checks to identify any issues or defects, and report them to the relevant teams.
- Load and unload equipment, and prepare it for rental or delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by checking out and demonstrating equipment to customers, and answering any questions they may have.
- Drive a delivery truck to pick up and drop off equipment, and ensure that all equipment is properly secured and transported.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including tracking equipment and filing reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Effective communication, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills.
- Diligent attention to safety protocols and procedures.
- Superior customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse range of customers.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
