Equipment Associate Role Overview

United Rentals is seeking a skilled Equipment Associate to join our team. As an Equipment Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.

Your primary objective will be to provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff, and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of customers. This is an on-site role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and manage power equipment for on-site clients
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order and compliant with safety regulations
  • Load and unload equipment, and prepare equipment for rental
  • Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers, as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment
  • Track equipment and file them accordingly in the system
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Effective communication, multi-tasking, and strong teamwork skills
  • Diligent attention to safety
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
