Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Revenue Officer to drive revenue growth and build high-performing teams. As a strategic leader, you will help create and grow revenue-generating business units, supporting the CEO in building a sales and marketing organization to achieve our revenue targets and growth goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow: Build and lead sales and marketing teams from the ground up, defining and delivering commercialization strategies that drive growth through our AI marketplace.
  • Monitor & Align: Establish metrics and KPIs to assess product performance, monitor revenue creation processes, and adjust strategy as needed. Ensure team members' performance and alignment with corporate goals.
  • Set up long-term strategies: Work on forecasts, set budget projections based on market potential, and ensure optimal investments in sales, marketing, and channels teams to attain revenue forecast.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate significant revenue growth in a start-up company in the technology sector, along with building strong marketing and sales teams.
  • Articulate a simple vision or rendering of a complex technological product.
  • Proven ability to interact with executives and influence the sales process at all levels.
  • Align with our company's vision, purpose, and core values.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong customer service and customer relationships skills.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, plan, and prioritize work.
  • High standards of ethics, confidentiality, and reliability.
  • Good judgment, initiative, and proactivity.
  • Excellent sense of detail and precision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to everyday requirements.
Relevant Experience
  • Similar experience in a technology start-up.
  • MBA (or equivalent) degree in Business or related fields.
  • Extensive professional experience (10 years or more) in revenue generation roles.
  • Experience in supervising and leading large teams.
  • Thorough understanding of revenue cycle, revenue operations, and related concepts.
  • Good understanding of company business strategy history, products, and services.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing effective business strategies.
  • Comfort in using large amounts of data for making data-driven business decisions.
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders and other C-Suite executives.
  • Experience in the life sciences sector an asset.
