Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee the smooth running of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.

    • Guarantee optimal customer satisfaction by implementing effective quality control measures.
  • Human Resources Management:
    • Communicate, motivate, and supervise teams in a unionized environment.
    • Collaborate with department heads to achieve operational and budgetary objectives.
    • Promote a healthy and inclusive work environment.
  • Financial and Material Resources Management:
    • Prepare and monitor budgets to ensure financial stability and growth.
    • Analyze financial statements and control costs to optimize profitability.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and optimize inventory management to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Marketing, Sales & Revenue:
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing and visibility strategies.
    • Support marketing efforts to attract tourists and business customers.
    • Strengthen the visibility of the establishment through effective branding and advertising.
  • Relations with Partners and the Community:
    • Represent the hotel in the local community and at events.
    • Strengthen ties with local partners to foster the hotel's growth and development.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a hotel management position.
  • Strong expertise in human and financial management.
  • Mastery of hotel IT systems.
  • Bilingualism (English and French), a third language is an asset.
  • Degree in Hotel Management or Business Administration (an asset).
  • Leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure.
