About the Role
The Bridge Engineer Lead will be responsible for leading the bridge group under the Transportation group in our Calgary, Lethbridge, or Edmonton office. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing bridge projects
- Supporting other MPE offices and disciplines
- Writing proposals and managing projects
- Planning, assessment, reporting, design, and inspection for bridge projects
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Civil or Structural Engineering Degree from an accredited university
- Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng.)
- Over 10 years of experience in bridge design and analysis, with experience in the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code
- Demonstrated experience in bridge engineering with a recognized consulting engineering firm
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, industry standard bridge design and analysis software, and AutoCAD
